Just home and very very tired and still very very excited.

Trent Jamieson won Best Young Adult short story for his story "Cracks" in Shiny Issue 2. It was such an awesome moment to be sitting with Ben and Tansy and cheer him on as he accepted it - we all love that story so very much! Congratulations Trent!

I keep forgetting, and thus getting the joy of suddenly remembering, that I have a 4 day week this week since I take off for Brisbane and the Aurealis Awards Ceremony on Friday. And better still, I am out in the field on Thursday being a "scientist" and thus it's really a 3 day week for me ( Read more... )
